Water Injection Pump Building & Cavern Wash Pump Building

  Project Background:

• New waste water disposal and storage facility in remote location requiring a cavern wash pump building and a disposal injection pump building.
• Project executed in partnership with DistributionNOW pump division. 

Solution & Execution:

• DNOW specified and procured the pumps and associated equipment.
• Valor developed the P&ID’s from client’s plant process conditions.
• We designed the pump skids using 3D software to have regular reviews with the client to ensure constructability, operability, access and egress.
• Communication and integration with fab. shop to ensure IFC drawings were fabrication ready (can be built, all materials and welding details shown).
• Fabrication support to work through shop issues as they arose. 

Final Results:

• Fully reviewed and approved design with all client stakeholders ensuring all parties would work together to get the project done effectively.
• Properly selected pumps and lines sized as per process conditions provided.
• Water injection pump building designed to allow for two future pumps.
• Successful integration with fab. shop to minimize RFI’s.
• Two complete skidded buildings were shipped to site to minimize field work.
