Addition of two 20,000BBL crude tanks, two 900HP booster pumps, three 6,000HP mainline pumps, two 12" measurement skids, one 16" measurement skid, one 20" measurement skid, tie in to new 20" pipeline, increased line sizes from existing tanks to booster pumps, cathodic protection, a new MCC to service the new 4160 V pumps, ATCO substation and distribution upgrade, existing tank berm modifications, associated piperack and piping modifications.
Line routed from facility to new pipeline riser at battery limit. Involved design of piperack to allow for future expansion. Tie-in allowed for pipeline to be in service one year ahead of schedule.
P&ID's (1970's vintage) as-built to allow existing facility to proceed through a HAZOP in preparation for expansion.
Demolish existing C5+ and crude tanks. Remove existing injection and booster pumps, flare and FKOD. Installation of four C3+ bullets (400m³ each), three main line pumps (4,000HP each), five booster pumps (900HP each), flare stack, and associated FKOD. Civil and structural works to support new equipment and modified pipe racks. New MCC building, 10MVA transformer, associated cabling and instrumentation to support new equipment.
We conducted a comprehensive laser scan of the facility to pinpoint precise tie-in locations, ensuring accuracy for upcoming expansions. This data was transformed into an intelligent CAD model, serving as a functional blueprint for all future tie-in projects.
Remove existing booster and injection pumps, and measurement skid (4" coriolis). Install two meter skids (16" p/l measurement skid and C3+/C5+/crude measurement skid) , meter prover and FKOD with associated drain lines.
